Enocean enabled light switches are wireless and battery-free. The act of pressing the switch creates enough energy to send a radio signal to a light module that controls a light/device. Because the wireless light switch creates its own energy it does not use batteries to operate. They are built to last for 20+ years of switch presses and have a range of 50-150ft. The switches are available in Euro or Decorator style and they mount directly to the wall using industrial tape or screws, no switch box or wires needed.
